Don’t worry, I’ll still be around, and Bawdy Bookworms isn’t going anywhere! Changes to Bawdy Quickie MonthlyĪs of today, December 30, 2021, we are sunsetting the Bawdy Quickie Box. to give you, my community, the tools and confidence to embrace pleasure fearlessly.īecause I want to go ALL IN on these two things, I’m making some major changes to Bawdy Bookworms. What makes my heart sing are these two things: What I want to focus on for 2022 is to do what makes my heart sing. On the not-great side, my family has been dealing with mental health issues (we’re getting help and doing ok). On the plus side, my first romance novel was published by Avon Books, and Bawdy Bookworms grew exponentially.
Happy new year! Can you believe 2022 starts tomorrow? If you have any questions, please contact us. Love the cover and the back intrigued me to want to read this as soon as I have time (why, because I'm easy when it comes to stuff like this).A note from our founder on our upcoming changes.
Casey A new-to-me author and a nice length-sized book at 309 pages. I'll be loading my Kindle Gift Card to do just that as soon as I've finished Christmas shopping for everyone else. What a way to draw the reader in to hopefully purchase the book. A signed bookmark by author Skye Warren - SCORE! A prologue/sneak peak of If I'd Known by Rebecca Donovan - love this marketing by the author. It does still write so it's not a complete loss. Inside the box: The pen that a lot of us book nerds love so much has a new look and I would have given this review five stars, but my pen is broken. As far as I can tell, nothing was missing from the box. One Book Box review: Concern: Normally when I receive my monthly book box subscription(s), the box is secured with a piece of tape. I had this subscription for a shorter time due to funds and. I believe there was a $5 price increase and instead of a big item, there was a second box and more small items (bookmark, pen, etc). The two-book box was something I switched to almost as soon as it was offered.
But you go in expecting this since every item/book is donation based.
The only disappointing thing about this box was the fact that most of the books were paperbacks and not recent releases. I have to say that I enjoyed the one-book subscription a little more than the two-book because I loved the items! I got a gorgeous notebook, a great pencil pouch, a bookworm box water bottle, and a couple of other really great big items. I had the one-book subscription for the first few months before switching to the two-book subscription. I loved opening up this beautiful purple package and finding that awesome purple stuffing (that manages to get everywhere, fair warning) and finally uncovering the bookish goodies. It would be an understatement to say that I was excited when I received my first box on my front porch. What drew me to this box was the fact that it was run by Colleen Hoover and she was an author that I greatly admired because of her published novels. I was probably eyeing this box for at least a year before I caved and spent the money to finally purchase a subscription.
